The Hoppy Hound's signature all-natural peanut butter spent grain dog treats are a safe and fun way to share a beer with your best friend! With all the flavor of beer and none of the alcohol, it's the perfect way for your dog to unwind after a ruff day.

The Science Behind the Magic...

The Hoppy Hound dog treats are handmade using spent grains from craft breweries. The brewer's grains (think barley, wheat, rye, and oats) are "mashed" in hot water to extract the sugars and flavors and then removed from the brewing process.  That liquid ("wort") is fermented to become your favorite craft beer, and the grains are upcycled and baked into tasty treats that you can feel good about serving up to your pup.

Spent grains are approximately 20% protein and 70% fiber and are a good source of iron, magnesium, selenium and phosphorus, making them an ideal part of a healthy dog treat that provides energy, aids in digestion, and helps keep those doggie teefs clean!
